⚠️ LOW PRESSURE THREAT NEAR SOUTHEAST U.S. COAST

An area of low pressure could develop near the Southeast U.S. Atlantic or Gulf coasts by this weekend along a weakening frontal boundary.

🌀 Development outlook:
▪ A tropical or subtropical depression could form this weekend or early next week while the system drifts northward or northeastward.
▪ Formation chance: Medium (40% in next 7 days)

🌧️ Impacts regardless of development:
▪ Heavy rainfall possible across parts of the Southeast U.S.
▪ West-central Florida coast at risk for significant rain
▪ Strong surf, coastal flooding, localized wind gusts possible

We urge residents and travelers in Florida to follow guidance from local government agencies and officials for any evacuation orders or preparedness actions. Travelers heading to Florida — especially in the next 24-60 hours or up to 60 days — should monitor forecasts closely.

🌊 EASTERN PACIFIC SYSTEMS

🌪️ Hurricane Flossie: Located a few hundred miles south of Baja California's southern tip.
🌊 New low south of southwestern Mexico: A tropical depression could form this weekend or early next week.
▪ Formation chance: Medium (50% in next 7 days)
▪ Movement: Generally west-northwest
